Unemployment Problem of Bangladesh

Unemployment is a big problem of Bangladesh. When qualified men don't get any work for earning their livelihood is called unemployment. The problem is increasing in Bangladesh. Problem creates problem. There is a proverb that, "An idle brain is a devil's workshop". Unemployed people often commit devil works such as steal, hijack, snatching and most of them become addicted to drugs later.
Unemployment is detrimental both to one's personal status as a human being and to the economy of a country as a whole. The most alarming matter is that the number of educated unemployed people is not few. According to the Workforce Report for 2016-2017 of  Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics , the number of educated unemployed people is 2,377,000 and illiterate unemployed people 300,000.
Among the 2,677,000 unemployed people, the number of men is 1,347,000 and the number of  women is 1,300,309.
 According to the trading economics in 2016 and 2017, the unemployment rate was 4.2%. In 2018, it increased to 4.31%^(1).  

<sup>Now a question may arise that why are so many people unemployed? What is going wrong with them?
There many reasons behind the problem of unemployment.
Though all people say that over population is the main cause of unemployment, but I am not agree with them. If you compare the density of population of Bangladesh with Singapore then you will get it. 
The density of population in Bangladesh is only 1252 per km2 while in Singapore is 8383 per km2 , where the unemployment rate is 1.95% only. 
According to view, some of the main reasons are given below.

1. Unskilled government and political unrest.
The major cause behind unemployment unskilled government and its political unrest in Bangladesh. 
Political leaders often lead students on a wrong way for their political benefits. And students follow them hoping get a job and others facilities if their leader sit on power. Who they involve in bad politics they give up study and pass their educational life with political power. The number of such students is not very few in our country.
Later, if their leader and party don't get power they become unemployment. 

2. Shortage of workplace.
Shortage of workplace is also responsible for unemployment. Most of the good students want to do government Job. But government has no enough space to employ all the brilliants. As a result some are remaining unemployment. Private sectors are increasing but they don't get qualified man they need. So, they are employing skilled person from abroad. 

3. Imperfect Education system. 
To survive in this competitive world, there is nothing alternative without keeping us update with time. But our orthodox education system is not so updated.  As a result, students of our country are remaining inept about modern technology. 

4. Our orthodox thinking.
 Most of the student think if I pass with a healthy mark then it is enough for me to get a good job. They don't read out of their syllabus rather they make short their syllabus and read only these lesson have probability to come in exam. 
As a result they are not being skilled in anything and don't get job.

5. Misuse of modern technology.
 Our country's people can't utilize modern technology. Most of them consider computer as the alternative of television, Facebook as place of getting girl friend/ boy friend, youtube as music and movie world. And they waste their time by misusing these valuable things. 

These are some cause behind unemployment problem of Bangladesh. Now I would like to say some way of overcoming this problem. 

1. Having a reading habit. 
At first we have to have a reading habit. Besides our syllabus we have to read at least 100 pages or equivalent in newspapers, internet or any others book. In we have a this habit then we can be skilled in any matter easily by reading power.</sup> 


2. Learn English
<sup>English is the most important language in the present world. Many students job seeker fail in their exam in English. So, at first we have to learn English. 3. Have to learn modern technology.
In this modern era, it is not so tough to get a job in online. We have to learn modern technology. Freelancing is  a very good field to earn money. 4. Dream to be an entrepreneur.
It is not possible to get job all people. Some of us have to be entrepreneur. We have to know about startup and work for it. 

These are some way for overcoming the unemployment problem. 
I hope if we become skilled in any thing then there will have many opportunities to earn money. 

May Allah the almighty give strength to become skilled and have mercy on us.
