The importance of presentation skills in business.

All praise is due to Allah Who has given me the strength and ability of writing and peace and blessings of Allah be upon His messenger and prophet, the last and final Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Dear brothers and sisters, at first take my greetings in my religious way, Assalamualaikum (peace be upon all of you).
My immense love and respect to the others belongs to other religions. 

Dear readers, how are you? I hope you all are well by the grace of almighty Allah (Glory to Him). Alhamdulillah, I am also well by His immense mercy.

Today, I am going to talk about the importance of presentations skills in business sector. In my previous blog I wrote about the importance of presentation skills in job sector. Today’s topic is almost same. Job and business are different sector for individual but duties are almost same.


Presentations are inevitable part of business. From product presentations to board room reports to motivational speeches, presentations are done to persuade, inform, motivate or inspire other.
At some points of your career, you will surely have to present a report to an audience either formally or informally. To achieve the purpose of presentation you need effective presentation and public speaking skills.
Your poor presentation skill can negatively impact on your business. So, to become a successful businessman you must need have a good presentation skills. 

Well, let’s discuss some main point where your presentations skills play important role.

To motivate your workers: Suppose you do a business and you have some workers. In our Bangladesh, most of the people are lazy and they always try to work less. If you have a good public speaking skills then you can motivate and provoke them to work. Your business’s success mostly depends on your workers. Because they work in the root level of your business. So, if you can achieve their 100 percent effort then your successful will not betray with you. 

To motivate your office staffs: after your worker you have to lead your office staffs. You frequently have to do meeting with them both in formally and informally. Your good presentation skill impact on your staff’s mind. If you can persuade them and distribute their duties perfectly then your business’s growth will increase. An audience always expect an outstanding and mind blowing speech to speaker. So, as a owner you need have good presentation skills. 

To persuade your buyers: This is the most important part of your business. A good presentation skills is your business capital. You have to present your products and its benefits before your clients or buyer is a way so that they become impressed to your speeches.
If you can persuade your buyer then your revenue will increase. On the other hand your poor presentation skills can negatively impact on buyer’s mind. 

To get investment : For your business you must need investment. And your investment depends on your presentation before investors. You have to present your company’s policy, goal, operating system and everything in brief but so much clearly in front of investors. You have to make investors understand that why they should invest in your project. How will they become benefited from your project. If you can make them understand by your good presentation skills then you will get investment from them, otherwise not. 

So, presentations skills is so much important in business.
